“ OMG! This place is top of the line for food & service. The menu is out of this world so plan for an extra 30 minutes to decide on what you want. . . And by "what" I mean what allll you want. We came with a group so we all got different things to try & share because we couldn't decide. Before I get started on the food . . The manager/waitress Kelly is THE BOMB. On top of her game, cute as a button and good vibes. The Bloody Mary is the best EVER, the Hawaiian piggy drink is a Caribbean island in the states and the food . . WHEW! Juicy cooked to perfection burgers, appetizers served with love & wrapped in bacon, and flavor that is unmatched. This is a new staple spot when in Chicago. We rolled (literally) up out of there FULL & happy. ”
“ This restaurant is a must visit. The food is excellent and Emily & staff really cares about your experience. We all had burgers and they are excellent. Also the bacon wrapped pickles appetizer didn't last long. Everyone enjoyed. A large beer selection list and a warm welcoming atmosphere. We've been here before and will definitely be back. PS. “ My wife and I came to Sebastian’s Ale and Whiskey House this past Saturday and we had the best interaction with the staff. Kelly is the hardest working bartender my wife and I ever met. She always greets us with a smile. She is the reason we have kept coming back since we moved here. Without her there would be no reason we would come back. Also she wrote these amazing note when we order something to go making it a more unique experience. When ever there’s a slow time she busts her butt cleaning around and attending to all the customers needs. Foods great and many TVs to watch March madness and other events. ”
“ This place is amazing! They have a great selection of bacon wrapped items. Even my ranch dressing had bacon! We had the bacon warped mozzarella cheese sticks, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, and the pulled pork sandwich. It was all so delicious and the service was great. They also have great all day specials along with happy hour specials starting at 3pm. I cannot wait to go back and try the bacon wrapped avocado. ”
“ So glad to find this place! They had me at "full vegan menu." Comfortable seating, the place is spotlessly clean, and our server was wonderful (been there several times). The food is fantastic. Buffalo chicken 'wich was amazing. Spicy enough but they don't hit you over the head with it. The Italian meatball 'which is also great. The onion rings are the *best*. It seems like onion rings are always crispy on the outside but slimy on the inside, but these are 100% crispy and bite-able all the way through. The Impossible burger is huge. Generous portions of everything, and made just right. I've had two different local (Lyons) beers from the tap, both were excellent. So many great beers to choose from! Seems like the perfect place to just get a drink at the bar, too. This will definitely be a regular spot for us. ”
“ An outstanding local establishment for a good meal and cool beverage. Sebastian’s carries a very extensive food and drink menu, with a whole page dedicated to vegan fare. A little something for everyone. Kelly is the most gracious and bubbly bartender, we always enjoy chatting with her. She always remembers the drink you normally order and often has it waiting for you before you even sit down. She is a joy to be around and we are grateful that she works here. Our recent visit we enjoyed the 1/2 lb. Fried Calamari appetizer at the bar. My husband loved the chicken fingers appetizer. Kelly made a recommendation to me about the vegan chicken, and I opted for the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I’ve never had anything quite like it. The vegan patty was a good portion and was loaded with a tangy yet spicy Buffalo sauce. The “chicken” was juicy and tender - and almost too much like real chicken that I questioned if I was consuming vegan chicken haha. Seriously it was very good. Plenty of big screen TVs to watch sports. Bonus they have a Touch Tunes jukebox which is always fun to play. Prices are very reasonable here and you always get great service. ”
